Here’s how we’re making a difference in the community:

Patient relations praise

Gratitude and feedback submitted to patient relations.

Harborview Medical Center (Ambulatory Surgery)

“I had great care the entire day. Jonathan at ambulatory surgery check in desk was informative, empathetic and when I asked if I could nap while waiting to be called for surgery, he got me a pillow. I so appreciate the great customer service. The anesthesiologist was very good, and his entire team was helpful. They provided me with a new nerve block before I was discharged because I was having pain despite the original nerve block. The nurse David pre-surgery and nurse Allison post-surgery were experts, attentive and went the extra mile to provide excellent care. It was such a good experience!”

UW Medical Center – Northwest (Bone and Joint)

Nicholas Hernandez is the MOST AMAZING SURGEON I have EVER COME ACROSS!…I am truly grateful to actually be seen by him you have no idea!…So intelligent, so caring, so passionate about his work, ….there is NOT one thing that he does half way!…He is an outstanding person in all aspects of his work as well as his life (I am not sure of this…but can only GUESS!!)”

UW Medical Center – Montlake (4SE)

“I’ve had many surgeries in various hospitals. My experience with UW Medicine in Seattle was the BEST I’ve ever had. From the first meeting with the surgery staff, the pre-surgery testing, and hospital staff, I found everyone friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The entire process was well-organized, I received all info verbally and in writing and felt very prepared for my surgery. Post-surgery follow up was automatically scheduled. At all times, I had full access to my medical and surgical team … And surgery was a complete success! Thank you!”

UW Medicine Primary Care (Belltown)

I have loved and respected Dr. Bagan’s care since he became my doctor many years ago. He has pulled me through some tough health issues, and I trust his knowledge and opinions unequivocally. The fact that he knows me and my particular issues is a reassuring plus.”

Valley Medical Center (Urgent Care, Covington)

“I am writing to tell you about a kind and caring employee. Regina Mount works at the desk at Covington Urgent Care. My family dropped me off in middle of their workday, intending to pick me up. They had to get back to work. Then when I was finished, they got delayed with kids and I would have had to wait a long time. I was a little shaky, cold, and tired. Regina offered to help me get cab, but none were available. She eventually got me a ride on Lyft, watched for them (getting me a warm blanket in the meantime), and then helped me out to the car. Above and beyond in care!!! I am so thankful for her help and wanted you to know!! She is an angel!!”

Social media shout outs

Kudos and heartfelt comments from the community on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

“Primary Care Physicians are so under-appreciated. We love our PCP so much we invited her to our wedding. Dr. Tanya Smith at @UWMedicine. Post your appreciation if you love yours!” Twitter logo

“I’d like to thank everyone at the UW Medical Center, all offices. I’ve been to several of your facilities this year with family and friends. While it isn’t my first choice for a place to hang out, we have met so many warm and friendly members of your staff and we would like to thank each one of them for their kindness. I am impressed with all of the art scattered about; here are pictures of some of it, along with other stuff that I found interesting. I hope that you enjoy it.” Facebook logo(See the entire post and photo collection.)
