Just two years after implementing the Epic electronic health record system, UW Medicine has met Epic’s criteria for achieving Honor Roll status.
The Epic Honor Roll program is based on strategies and best practices to help health systems adopt Epic features and make continuous improvements in workflows and quality of care. Achieving this status reflects the drive of the UW Medicine IT Services (ITS) team and our care teams’ dedication to utilizing the Epic tools to enhance our ability to deliver the very best care to our patients.
UW Medicine has also achieved 8 Epic Gold Stars, which are awarded for functionality and usage of the software to improve our care and records system.
