Congratulations to the 248 UW School of Medicine medical students who matched on March 15, 2024.
Match Day is the culmination of the National Residency Matching Program, when medical students across the country learn where they will spend the next three to seven years as residents.
This year, students were matched into residencies in 26 specialties across 40 states. Nearly 50% matched into primary care specialties, including family medicine, general internal medicine, pediatrics and psychiatry.
