This session is in English (with American Sign Language interpretation).
Vaccines are a major step forward in overcoming COVID-19, yet many questions and concerns remain about the vaccines.
So that our community partners can help their networks make informed decisions about vaccines, UW Medicine will host a special community conversation for social service providers, neighborhood networks, and local leaders.
Our panel will include: Dr. Leo Morales, Professor and Associate Dean in Office of Healthcare Equity; Dr. Anita Chopra, Internal Medicine; and Dr. Ruanne Barnabas, Infectious Disease Physician and Scientist.
Please invite any community members and organizations in your area to attend this virtual session. Everyone is welcome to attend!
We will start the session with general information about the COVID-19 vaccine, including how to access and use Department of Health resources. We will also hold an open question and answer session.
