The Northwest Regional Spinal Cord Injury System has published the latest Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Forum, “Discussing COVID-19 and Spinal Cord Injury” as both a video and a podcast.
In the forum, Aaron Bunnell, MD, and Jeanne Hoffman, PhD, discuss what we know and don’t about COVID-19 and spinal cord injury, Bunnell’s work in UW Medicine’s Post-COVID-19 Telehealth Clinic, potential issues for people with SCI and a diagnosis of COVID-19, the pros and cons of in-person routine care and strategies for minimizing exposure from caregivers.
