UW Medicine was recognized for digital health excellence in the 2024 Most Wired Survey. As part of the digital health evaluation, we earned a level 9 achievement in the acute and ambulatory care technology categories (on a scale of 1-10).

UW Medicine’s high-level ranking was based on attention to analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure and patient engagement and was evaluated among 48,000 facilities by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).

“Achieving Level 9 in the CHIME Most Wired program is a testament to our commitment to harnessing innovative technology for exceptional patient care and operational excellence,” says Eric Neil, chief information officer of UW Medicine. “At UW Medicine, we prioritize advancing healthcare through secure, connected systems to support our clinicians and researchers, and this recognition underscores the dedication of our teams who strive to set new standards in health IT every day.”

By participating in the “Digital Health Check-up,” UW Medicine receives benchmark reporting that can help track and develop our digital health strategies.

“This recognition highlights our drive to lead in healthcare technology, to execute on the UW Medicine mission and deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients,” says Neil.
