On Sept. 21, 2022, 29 Latinx faculty at UW are being recognized by the Latino Center for Health for their work.
Among the faculty being honored are:
- Daniel Cabrera, MD, MPH, clinical associate professor of Medicine
- Lourdes DelRosso, MD, MEd, associate program director of the UW Sleep Medicine Fellowship
- Deborah Fuller, PhD, professor of Microbiology
- Claudia Moreno, PhD, assistant professor of Physiology and Biophysics
- Leo Morales, MD, PhD, MPH, professor of Medicine, assistant dean of the UW School of Medicine and co-director of the Latino Center for Health
- Johnnie Orozco, MD, PhD, a hematology oncologist
- Oscar Vivas, PhD, research assistant professor of Physiology and Biophysics
Also being honored is Nora Coronado, director of the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) and of the Center for Workforce Inclusion and Healthcare System Equity (WIHSE) at the Office of Healthcare Equity (OHCE).
