Fred Hutch Obliteride 2023

Don’t miss Fred Hutch Obliteride 2023! Obliteride is a summer bike ride and 5K that empowers people to help cure cancer faster by raising funds for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. Thanks to generous sponsors, every participant-raised dollar helps Fred Hutch advance cancer prevention, detection, treatment and cures. For the first time this year, participants also have the option to direct their support to an area of work that is most meaningful to them, including a specific disease area, program, faculty member or clinician.
Employee discount
Fred Hutch and UW Medicine employees enjoy a 50% discount on registration (use code EMP23). Although employees are encouraged to ask friends and family to support their ride/walk/run with a donation, there are no fundraising requirements for employees to participate.
Celebrate all weekend
Obliteride weekend kicks off on Aug. 11, with a Friday Night Party at Gas Works Park in Seattle. It’s a great way to celebrate summer with a community dedicated to ending cancer. Enjoy a catered dinner, live music from local bands and fun activities.
Obliteride Day is on Saturday, Aug. 12. Feel the excitement as you complete your 25-, 50- or 100-mile Obliteride bike ride or 5K walk/run. All routes start at the University of Washington and finish at Gas Works Park. Once you cross the finish line, celebrate with food, music and drinks.
