Diversity Lecture Series on the Intersectionality of Medicine: Race and Gender in the Clinic and Beyond

As a continuation of the Diversity Lecture Series on the Intersectionality of Medicine, UWNURF is collaborating with ISCRM to bring in a guest speaker Jules Gill-Peterson, PhD, associate professor of History at Johns Hopkins University.

Gill-Peterson’s lecture will explore the influences of race and gender on each other, and how this combination has led to systemic oppression and marginalization. There will be an optional time before and after the lecture to work together on questions that will help increase your interaction with the lecture content.
