The Whole U is offering a free, self-paced virtual course developed to reduce burnout and increase well-being and self-compassion for 200 UW Medicine front-line healthcare workers who identify as female.
CARE, a course developed by Jane Compson, PhD, associate professor in the UW Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs Division, provides training in compassion, awareness, resilience and empowerment with the specific goal of protecting against burnout. It creates an accessible portal into self-care practices and is developed to synthesize the bewildering array of resources available to us around self-care and well-being.
The application deadline is March 27 at 5 p.m. The eight-week course will run April 5 to May 28.
