Tim Dellit, MD, CEO of UW Medicine, is one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s Academic Medical Center CEOs to Know for 2024.
Dellit is recognized for his executive leadership at UW Medicine — leading over 30,000 employees in support of our mission: to improve the health of the public — and for prioritizing employee resilience and well-being programs; promoting equity, diversity and inclusion throughout UW Medicine; and actively addressing health inequities through outreach programs for our communities. He is also highlighted for his role in UW Medicine’s response to the pandemic in 2020 when the first U.S. cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the Seattle area.
Dellit has over 20 years of service with UW Medicine, including two years as interim CEO and is soon approaching his one-year mark as CEO of UW Medicine.
