The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to include adolescents 12 to 15 years of age in the United States. If your child is within this age range, you may now schedule an appointment with UW Medicine immediately in one of two ways.

Additionally, we are offering walk-in appointments at four sites beginning Thursday, May 13, during the following hours:

  • North King County Vaccination Clinic: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • UW Medical Center – Montlake: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • UW Medical Center – Northwest: 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Harborview Medical Center: 9:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Please note that consent from an authorized adult is required for vaccination of all 12- to 15-year-olds. For more information about the COVID-19 vaccine for this age group, please refer to the FAQ on our website, where you also can find many other COVID-19 resources.
