Now located on the fourth floor of the Patricia Steel Building, the redesigned Sleep Center brings together the UW Medicine Sleep Clinic and UW Medicine Sleep Surgery Clinic. The combination of services at one site simplifies care for patients and enhances collaboration between multidisciplinary care teams.

Many features of the Sleep Center’s design were suggested by employees, including the placement of workstations by windows to make the most of natural light. The layout groups together administrative teams to simplify communication and coordination for even greater continuity of care. The move also frees up space for five new outpatient operating rooms at the Ninth and Jefferson Building.
