Harborview Medical Center and Seattle Children’s are 2020 recipients of Practice Greenhealth’s Top 25 Environmental Excellence award. The award recognizes the top 25 healthcare organizations that are leading the country in addressing the links between the environment and human health.
UW Medical Center – Montlake is a 2020 Greenhealth Greening the OR Recognition award honoree and a 2020 Greenhealth Emerald award honoree. The Greening the Operating Room Recognition honors facilities that have made substantial progress in reducing the impact of the surgical environment. The Greenhealth Emerald award recognizes outstanding hospitals in the top 20% of applicants. It is focused on advanced sustainability programs and exemplary scores in a range of categories.
