To accommodate renovations, the area in front of UW Medical Center – Montlake will be closed through January 2026. Drop-off and pick-up will now be at the Cascade Entrance at the back of the hospital. There continues to be a shuttle stop on Frontage Road, but it has moved west of the hospital. Patients should use the parking garages when possible.
This is part of the final phase of the construction required to upgrade the UW Medical Center – Montlake entrance and complete the waterproofing work that began on Dec. 23. The redesigned entrance will be renovated to increase access for people with disabilities, improve foot and traffic flow, and create pleasant courtyards and gardens for patients, staff and visitors.
