Thank you to our UW Medicine employees for all your work to improve the health of the public.

Here’s how we’re making a difference in the community:

Patient relations praise

Gratitude and feedback submitted to patient relations.

Harborview Medical Center (Gynecology Clinic)

“The nurse and doctor Eastwood. Was the best experience I have ever had. I was in pain due to a fibroid and they both understood my issue and went above and beyond. I truly appreciate both of them.”

UW Medical Center – Northwest (Emergency Department)

“Robyn (phlebotomist) was awesome! Kind, caring, friendly & best of all skilled — The security guard who walked me to my car was great! It was about 4 a.m. & he made me feel SAFE getting to my car.”’

UW Medical Center – Montlake (8SE Oncology)

“I can’t say enough positive about everyone in 8SE Oncology. Everyone there has always treated me so well. Having cancer is so difficult and I must say, everyone here helps so much by the respect, kindness and care they always show. I am so grateful; thank you all. Dr. Liao always makes me feel listened to and respected. I feel my care is in the best of hands.”

UW Medicine Primary Care (South Lake Union)

Dr. Chan is one of the (if not the) best doctor I’ve seen. She was kind, trauma-informed, very informative and used terms and explanations that were understandable. She listened to my concerns, was sensitive to my difficult history with the medical world, and provided referrals to specialists.”

Valley Medical Center (Breast Center, Renton)

“Everyone is always very nice at the Valley Breast Center; I’ve never had an issue and I’ve been having a mammogram there every year since I was 40 and I’m now almost 70. Of course, it’s gotten better over the years as far as the technology, but the technicians are always kind and gentle.”
