Patient relations praise

Gratitude and feedback submitted to patient relations.

Harborview Medical Center

Dr. Haseley is an excellent doctor who genuinely cares for you, listens to you, asks you questions that denote that she wants to know your well-being and how she can help. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She also has a very positive attitude, and she smiles often. It is a pleasure to have her as my doctor.”

Dr. Burke is an excellent physician. She listens carefully, tries to address your issues and comes up with the best solution. She cares about my health. She is the best doctor I ever had, and I am very thankful to her.”

UW Medical Center – Northwest

“The doctor, Tiffany Nguyen, listened to my medical problems and was very concerned about them. Very informative, helpful and understanding of my medical problems. I am so impressed. I would absolutely recommend her to my family, relatives and friends.”

Dr. Ghassemieh is a very skilled and compassionate practitioner. He helped me to understand my condition more thoroughly and discussed options for the most effective way to treat my symptoms. I am privileged to have him as my doctor.”

UW Medical Center – Montlake

“I am very happy with my surgical experience and can’t say enough to convey how happy I am with my entire care team and care! Dr. Chiang is now one of my favorite people. She and Dr. Nichols have done an exemplary job; I have had a few post-op events and received great communication and care. I also am very pleased with the anesthesia team and nurses! I was so nervous and felt completely cared for and like I was in the very best hands. Thank you!!”

“I am very grateful for the care I received at UW. I found the process and procedure to be excellent. Whether it was the nurses, doctors or others they made me feel comfortable and confident about the surgery I was going to experience. I’ve had several surgeries throughout my life but this, though difficult, was handled with care and concern. I am appreciative especially for Dr. Brad. I knew he was going to take great care of me! And … He surely did!”

Dr. Gore and his staff provided excellent service and support during my visit and promptly answered any concerns following my service. I am extremely pleased with their quality of service.

UW Medicine Primary Care

“Very pleased with my first visit with Dr. Ahanna Roy. I was a little worried about going to a new PCP, but Dr. Roy was very efficient and professional. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable.”

Dr. Brown asked many questions about my injury. It left me feeling like she wants to learn as much as she can from this. Seriously, what else would you want from a doctor. Dr. Brown sets a really good example of a doctor. I’m impressed with her knowledge as well as willing to learn more about my injury. A+ from me and thank you.”

Dr. Dudley is a saint. He listened to me and was very patient with my answers. Based on my symptoms and X-ray he quickly diagnosed my pneumonia and came up with a plan to get me better and advised that I followed up with my progress. As I understand this is what all doctors should do, Dr. Dudley did it with true concern and compassion. He is a kind soul.”

Valley Medical Center

Dr. Grove was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things. I feel hopeful because of her … which hasn’t happened in a very long time. She gave me space to feel my feelings and made sure that I didn’t feel pressured into one treatment or another. I felt supported in my decisions and cannot wait to see what happens next.”

“I haven’t always been the best patient or the worst. But I can’t express my gratitude for my support team at Valley Medical Center. It’s by the Grace of God I happen to find myself in such great care. I was diagnosed with cancer by Dr. Dong in last fall. I’m not very literate but she explained everything to me in a way I understood. I think I even gave her a hug after the appointment. And today I was with Dr. Elaine Liu. I’m so grateful for my doctors at VMC. They’re angels. I want them to be:

  • Given a pat on the back
  • Be recognized
  • Be promoted
  • Hold seminars so they can share their knowledge and compassion with everyone.

Thank you!”

Kudos from UW Medicine patients

UW Medicine’s Advancement team engages with patients throughout the year. Here’s what patients had to say about their doctors.

“Thanks for hanging in there with me through my fear and uncertainty about my eye condition, vision and future. We depend on you for that compassion and human kindness as well as your excellent technical skills and specialized, state-of-the-art knowledge. I appreciate everything you do for patient care.”

Dr. Merati saved my life. I’m truly grateful. He and his team are wonderful. Thank you.”

Dr. Smith is the single best communicator of any doctor who has provided me care. I was a high-risk pregnancy and have struggled with my health for much of my life. Dr. Smith takes the time to fully explore my concerns and is completely respectful. When I was getting contacted from the cancer center, I ignored them. Dr. Smith did not ignore my mammogram results and politely pushed me to get a second test. A big THANK YOU for all your care!”
