As of Jan. 7, 2025, UW Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers who see patients in outpatient clinics will have their individual patient experience survey scores displayed in the Epic provider dashboard. Residents and fellows who are assigned their own panel of patients are included.
While this data has long been available to providers through an outside dashboard tool, this project marks the first time data from the patient experience surveys is available to providers without exiting the Epic application.
Improved access to this data allows providers more visibility and insight into patient perceptions of communication about their care; it is intended to reinforce the connection between a positive patient experience and improved clinical outcomes through regular feedback.
