The University of Washington is kicking off a new beverage partnership with PepsiCo on July 1, 2023. A committee of representatives from across the University — including all three campuses, UW Medicine and Intercollegiate Athletics — unanimously selected PepsiCo in a competitive bidding process.
PepsiCo equipment will be installed across UW and UW Medicine sites this summer.
The full suite of PepsiCo products — which includes hydration, refueling and recovery drinks and drinks with no added sugar or low- to no-calorie options — will be offered throughout the UW’s three main campuses, athletic venues, and UW Medicine hospitals for the next 10 years. The relationship is valued at more than $24.92 million, with an additional $2.4 million in PepsiCo products.
