Rotonya Carr, new division head, Gastroenterology
Rotonya Carr, MD, has accepted the position of division head for the Division of Gastroenterology, effective October 1, 2021. Carr is currently an associate professor of medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. At the University of Pennsylvania, Carr has served as the director of the Liver Metabolism and Fatty Liver Clinic; co-director of the Human Metabolic Tissue Resource within the Institute of Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism; and associate director for the Institute of Translational Medicine and Therapeutics (ITMAT) Education Programs.
