Here’s who is on the move:
Thomas J Grabowski
Thomas Grabowski, MD, has been named the inaugural holder of the Tim B. Engle Endowed Professorship for Brain Health Innovations supported by the Garvey Institute for Brain Health Solutions. In this role, Grabowski will help support the Institute’s efforts in the area of cognitive aging. This work will focus on strategies to promote brain wellness and resilience across the lifespan and to delay the effects of brain aging and degenerative brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Gabriel Sarah
Gabriel Sarah, MD, has been named the new associate dean for Student Affairs for the University of Washington School of Medicine. He will join the School in this role on May 1, 2023.
Sarah is currently an associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia at the University of California, San Francisco.
As a member of the School of Medicine senior leadership team, Sarah will head the Office of Student Affairs to provide innovative and comprehensive medical student support across Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho (WWAMI) region and six campuses served by the School.
