Harborview Medical Center and UW Medical Center were recognized in Newsweek’s 2022 list of the World’s Best Specialized Hospitals.
The ranking features the top 250 hospitals for cardiology and oncology, the top 150 for cardiac surgery and pediatrics and the top 125 each in endocrinology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery and pulmonology.
Newsweek and Statista invited more than 40,000 medical experts — including doctors, hospital managers and healthcare professionals — to participate in online surveys that allowed them to recommend and assess various hospitals within their respective specializations. The results of the survey were then validated by a global board of renowned medical experts.
