On its first day, urgent care at Kirkland saw a record-breaking number of patients, beating the previous record for an urgent care opening.
Urgent care services at Kirkland are available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Meet the team
Urgent care services are provided under the leadership of Adewunmi Nuga, MD, PhD, the clinic’s medical director; RiQuia Mitchell, clinic manager; Laura Polito, MD, associate medical director of Urgent Care Services; and Chesna Briceno, assistant administrator for Primary Care. The initial provider team includes Christy Gibson, MD; Mary Myers, MD; Monica Rivas, PA-C; and Zohreh Safai, MD. Additionally, Kaitlyn Hodder, ARNP, will join the provider team in July 2025.
