Next week, all employees will gain access to Vitals, the new UW Medicine intranet that will be the go-to place for critical news and much more. Like you do with your email, please log on each day. With the mobile app, it will be easy to check your Vitals from wherever you are.
Named by employees, Vitals is a centralized hub and the place to go for vital information. It includes:
- Critical news, leadership messages, events, operational updates and policy changes
- An interactive org chart with employee profiles and contact information
- Quick access to your most utilized tools and resources
- Employee features and ways to connect with our community
- Ways for you to interact, share shout-outs, photos, feedback and more
Your inbox is about to get a little lighter as we shift many important communications to Vitals. Vitals includes dedicated space for entity-specific content, starting with Harborview Medical Center and UW Medical Center, and expanding in the future to Primary Care, School of Medicine, UW Physicians and beyond. SharePoint sites are great for information storage, and they will all remain available. We will be retiring The Huddle as we transition to Vitals.
