UW Medicine contributes to documentary that explores the journey of academic medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic

The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) has produced a short documentary called “This Is What We Do” that explores the journey of academic medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has had on our communities and the country. The story is told through the perspective of constituents from the nation’s medical schools, teaching hospitals, and research institutions – including UW Medicine’s Dr. Tim Delitt – who share in their own words their experiences during the global pandemic.

Seattle Pacific University honors alumni who serve on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic

Their documentary short film, The Time to Heal, originally titled Front-line Falcons, follows three alumni who are living out their faith through their work at UW Medicine’s Harborview Medical Center during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Time to Heal has been selected to show at the Cannes Short Film Festival, Seattle Film Festival, Walla Walla Movie Crush, Anchorage International Film Festival and Compassion Film Festival.
