We are honored to recognize our UW Medicine Supply Chain team as part of National Healthcare Supply Chain Week. Over the last 18-plus months of the pandemic, our team has risen to the challenge during some of the most trying times.
This year, Supply Chain Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate our success in ensuring that our clinicians and colleagues are protected with personal protective equipment (PPE) during a global pandemic but also to recognize the work we do every day to provide the supplies and equipment to our colleagues that then allow them to offer world-class care to our patients.
In addition, our teams play a crucial role in helping lead efforts in reducing the total cost of care and improving quality/patient outcomes for our health system and allowing us to continue to achieve UW Medicine’s mission of improving the health of the public.
