We want to help you gain better access to our UW Medicine facilities and providers. As a UW Medicine employee, you and your family have a special access number for easier appointment scheduling: 206.520.5050, as well as other convenient ways to access care.
Dedicated phone number
The UW Medicine Contact Center has established a phone number just for employees and their families: 206.520.5050. Contact Center representatives prioritize calls to this number, meaning a shorter wait time for you.
Priority appointment scheduling
When you or a family member call in, you receive priority access to available appointments. If you are still not satisfied with your appointment options, the Contact Center will escalate your call to a scheduling liaison who will work with you to identify a solution.
If you use eCare, you can take advantage of the “fast pass” option. The Contact Center will add you to a waiting list, and you will be alerted through your eCare account if an appointment opens up sooner than your scheduled time.
Online scheduling is available for new and existing patients. While many providers and specialties do not offer online scheduling, our teams are working on expanding this capability to all. If your provider does not use online scheduling, call 206.520.5050.
With more than 35 locations in the Puget Sound region, including Roosevelt, Ravenna, South Lake Union and downtown, and expanded telehealth options, we’re nearby your work and home. Use the employee phone number or online scheduling via eCare to make an appointment.
UW Medicine urgent care locations are open seven days a week for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Use our “get in line” option to hold a spot in line or simply walk in.
If you don’t want to wait for an appointment, you can also use the UW Medicine Virtual Clinic for immediate urgent care, 24/7. If you have UW Medicine Accountable Care Network (ACN) – UMP Plus as your health plan, it’s free.
In addition to the virtual clinic, UW Medicine primary care and many specialty providers are available for telehealth video visits.
