Oct. 1-7 is National Healthcare Food Service Worker’s Week. During this first week of October, we honor the professionals who help patients and healthcare employees stay healthy and well-nourished. The work of a food service professional is an essential part of the entire healthcare system.

UW Medicine’s Food & Nutrition Services team members work in many aspects of our organization. They cater meetings, deliver room service to patients and guests, provide tube feeding products, and run our cafes, espresso stands and gift shops while preparing healthy meals to meet cultural preferences and extensive dietary needs.
