In its 2024 list of America’s Best Employers By State, Forbes ranked UW Medicine as the top healthcare system in Washington. We also ranked among the top ten best workplaces in the state overall.
Forbes notes new research that finds that a growing number of employees are content to remain at their jobs, and this list highlights the employers who are focusing on retention and employee satisfaction.
This year’s rankings are based on a Statista survey of 160,000 employees nationally working for companies with 500 or more people. Nearly 1,300 organizations were recognized. The ranking took into consideration how likely participants were to recommend their employer and how participants evaluated companies they’d worked for or knew through industry, family or friends. This data was scored and incorporated with survey data from the past three years.
