I write to inform you that Dr. Beth Buffalo has agreed to serve as interim chair of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, effective July 1, 2020. Dr. Buffalo is well qualified to serve in this important administrative position. Please join me in welcoming her to the Medical School Executive Committee.
I would like to take this opportunity also to thank Dr. Stan Froehner for his leadership of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. Under Dr. Froehner’s leadership, the department has made important contributions in research, education and clinical care.
