The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of David Baker, PhD, to its College of Fellows.

The College of Fellows is comprised of the top 2% of medical and biological engineers. Baker was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for his contributions to molecular modeling and protein design platforms that address modern challenges in medicine, energy and technology.

Baker is a UW professor of biochemistry, head of the Institute for Protein Design and an investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
