Continuing Nursing Education (CNE), housed in the UW School of Nursing, is the only ANCC-accredited provider at an academic institution in Washington State and Oregon. Since 1978, the department has fulfilled its mission to provide high-quality learning opportunities for nurses. CNE strives to foster a community of empowered nurses who provide the best evidence-based, inclusive and holistic care for their patients. There are well over 1,000 nurses per year attending dozens of in-person, hybrid and on-demand courses through CNE.
There are a variety of events already scheduled for 2023. Check out the CNE website, or sign up for emails to receive notifications about upcoming events.
